Detailed Directions & 36-Page Gardening Guide Inside Package

The Purpose of Soil Testing
Certain nutrients, such as Nitrogen, Phosphorus, and Potash, play a vital role in the healthy growth of plants and the pH levels in soil control how well the plants utilize those nutrients. Each plant has a specific pH preference, so it is important to know the pH level of your soil. Knowing the levels allows you to choose plants for your garden wisely.

Using the Soil Test Kit, levels of nutrients and pH in your soil can be determined within minutes. You will know your soil’s condition so that you can fertilize and/or adjust the pH level more accurately, effectively and economically.

When to Test Your Soil
It is recommended that you test your soil before planting in Spring and when preparing beds in Fall. Soil should also be tested throughout the growing season at different periods or when plants are not growing well.

  • Control the amount of Potash and Phosphorus in your soil for more abundant flowers!
  • Adjust pH as well as Nitrogen levels to help grow greener, thicker lawns!
  • Determine your feedings of Potash, Nitrogen and Phosphorus to produce sweeter fruits and abundant crops of vegetables.
